Timber Forest and PONSSE paternship
In April 2015, with the increasing demand for Ponsse machines in the southern region of Brazil and with Timber Forest's excellent aftersales, a partnership that agitated the forest market was launched in southern Brazil.
Operating under Rodoparaná, Timber Forest began operations in 2001, focusing on processors and fellers as solutions installed in forest belt machines. The company now supports customers through its three service centers and has increased with its market share and customer base within its area of expertise.
Ponsse Latin America Ltda, a Brazilian subsidiary, was founded in 2005. In recent years the company has focused on developing solutions for maintenance, services and training for local customers. Teemu Raitis serves as general director of the company in Brazil.
According to Jober Fonseca, General Manager of Timber Forest, Ponsse products will enable a great opportunity for the company to be part of the development of one of the most modern and low environmental impact systems in the Brazilian market, cut-to-length.
