SATCO 630 – Felling Grapple

Tested in all parts of the world, the SATCO 630 is a very versatile unit that allows you to assist in felling, reloading, stacking, loading and Shovel Logger operations. The 360 ° continuous rotation makes it possible to knock in any direction with respect to the base machine. The first unit was built in 1999 and continues to work to this day with more than 30,000 hours of service on its third base machine, proving to be the most reliable and efficient Feller Directional in the world. SATCO owns the majority of its units in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. The unique "SATCO Hose Through Center" hoses connected to the base machine allow hoses to remain exposed. This prevents breakage and rupture of main hoses, the main reason for premature failure in this type of equipment. The SATCO 630 sawing system is notable for its large 300mm (12 ") main bearing diameter making it very robust, especially in felling. The cut-off set is the Heavy Duty model of manual draft, with a 43 "saber and corrente chain. SATCO also included a distinctive saber locking system to prevent breakage of the saw motor shaft and key. Without the presence of an electrical system from the base machine to the Feller, we also have a simplified maintenance and easy tool replacement. The 360 ° system with continuous rotation allows the cutting of trees with large diameters, a frontal cut can be made without the need to reposition the base machine. Weighing 2000Kg (4400 Ibs), requiring 200 Ipm and 3300ps (230 bar) the SATCO 630 can be fitted on almost all models and brands of excavator capacity between 20-35 tons. As the SATCO 630 can be fitted to small machines, the power required is minimal compared to a disk Feller. These factors reduce the effort of the base engine and have an excellent fuel economy. We just look for the opportunity to help you increase production while lowering your costs.
